Know About Our Activities
Maghi Purnima (Māgha Pūjā) is a most sacred day in the Buddhist calendar, commemorating the historic gathering of 1,250 fully enlightened Arahants at Veluvana, Rājagaha, who assembled spontaneously in the presence of the Blessed One. On this auspicious full-moon day, the Buddha expounded the Ovāda Pāṭimokkha, the heart of his teaching — to refrain from unwholesome actions, to cultivate wholesome deeds, and to purify the mind.
At Buddha Tri-Ratna Mission, Maghi Purnima is observed as a day of homage to the Triple Gem — the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Saṅgha. It inspires our collective resolve to uphold moral discipline, inner purification, harmony, and compassionate service, guiding our community on the Noble Path toward wisdom, peace, and liberation.
With deep reverence and sincere gratitude, we humbly thank you for your generous Dhamma Dāna and kind support towards the forthcoming Magh Purnima Puja. Your selfless offering, made with faith and devotion, enriches this sacred occasion and strengthens our Dhamma community. Such noble generosity truly reflects the spirit of Dāna as taught by the Blessed One.
May the Triple Gem bless you and your family with good health, peace, happiness, and steady progress on the Noble Eightfold Path. With respectful gratitude and mettā🙏
