In 1974, the Buddha Tri-Ratna Mission was formed, marking the beginning of a sacred journey driven by unwavering dedication and strong faith. Despite facing many challenges, including financial difficulties, the mission remained determined and guided by the timeless teachings of the Buddha. Despite a long legal battle, our spirit stayed strong and resolute.
Finally, on June 3rd, 2023, a significant day arrived when the Government of India granted the Buddha Tri-Ratna Mission a precious piece of land measuring 2023 square meters in the peaceful neighborhood of C.R. Park, New Delhi. This long-awaited possession was proof of our relentless efforts and commitment to spreading wisdom and compassion.
The devoted members felt overwhelming emotions of joy, gratitude, and fulfillment as they looked back on the difficult journey and the immense support received from the community. With the land now in our possession, the mission is ready to expand our noble endeavors. We aim to be a source of peace, enlightenment, and spiritual solace for future generations.
In the devine spiritual atmosphere of BTM ground on 2nd August, 2023, sacred DHAMMACAKKAPAVATTANA SUTTA was Chanted by the Holy Sangha. An aura of devine pleasure surrounded the whole gathering of devotees present. A discourse on First Sermon of the Buddha delivered by the Guest Speaker Ven. On the evening of June 17th, 2023, the BTM (Buddha Tri-Ratna Mission) members gathered to honor the esteemed Most Venerable Bhadanta Silananda Bhikkhu from Bangladesh. The esteemed spiritual leader chanted sutras and delivered a profound discourse, reminding everyone of the timeless wisdom and compassion in the Buddha's teachings. This gathering reinforced the values of gratitude, respect, mindfulness, and generosity within the Buddhist tradition. The BTM community left inspired and grateful for Bhadanta Silananda's presence and embodiment of Buddhist values.
BTM celebrated World Environment Day through a Buddhist lens, emphasizing interconnectedness and compassion. Activities included meditation, community clean-up campaigns, and educational workshops on environmental issues. Sustainable practices like waste reduction and energy conservation were encouraged, fostering a harmonious relationship with nature. By cultivating mindfulness and taking responsible action, BTM strives to protect the environment and promote a sustainable future for all. We also prayed at the Buddhist relics enshrined at the National Museum in New Delhi. With hearts filled with devotion, we sought blessings from these precious remnants, connecting us to the profound teachings and legacy of the Buddha.
On April 15, 2023, BTM organized a joyous Bengali New Year Program, marking their maiden community gathering infused with the essence of Buddhism. The event commenced with heartfelt prayers, invoking blessings for the year ahead and setting a spiritual tone. The atmosphere echoed with the rich cultural heritage of Bengal, associated with Buddhist teachings. Captivating cultural performances showcased music, dance, and artistic expressions inspired by Buddhist values of compassion and wisdom. The celebration not only encouraged unity and togetherness but also served as a reminder of the profound teachings of the Buddha, inspiring attendees to cultivate mindfulness and embrace the spirit of the Bengali New Year. This harmonious gathering strengthened the bonds of the BTM community, nurturing a sense of shared devotion and a deep appreciation for Buddhist traditions.
On the momentous day of May 5th, 2023, BTM (Buddha Tri-Ratna Mission) embraced the sacredness of Buddha Purnima with utmost devotion. The morning hours commenced with heartfelt prayers, invoking blessings for all sentient beings. Additionally, it marked the solemn observance of the 2nd Death anniversary of the revered (Prof.) Late Sangharaj Bhikshu Satyapal, a profound spiritual guide. The evening unfolded with enlightening religious discourses, exploring the profound wisdom of Buddha's teachings , illuminating minds with wisdom and compassion. The festivities reached their pinnacle with a vibrant cultural function, showcasing the rich heritage of Buddhist traditions through mesmerizing music, dance, and artistic expressions, fostering unity and the gathered devotees demonstrated profound devotion.
On the 1st death anniversary of Bikshu Satyapala, BTM gathered to remember his significant contributions with deep gratitude and paid homage. His dedication and teachings continue to inspire us in our pursuit of spreading the Buddhist message of compassion and wisdom. We honored his memory with heartfelt appreciation.
